SmallFM Interview : Louise Wiliams (2) - SmallWorlds Artist
Larry: What inspired you for art?
Louise: I remember The times I used to visit the Forums and see all the amazing art, It would leave me startled just seeing the talent People had. I always had the Wish to be as good as them but never really did anything about it. I then met Shellysparkles who Was such a huge inspiration, whenever i'd go to visit her, her head whould always be stuck inside a board and By the time we'd finish Our conversations she would have her painting finished and just looking at those finished pieces made Practice my painting skills on a board.
Larry: What age did you start drawing?
Louise: I started Painting about A year and a half Ago
Larry: How do you deal with time restraints, like when a piece is needed quickly?
Louise: It is actually quite hard to paint something knowing that it has to be prepared in a certain amount of time. I prefer to paint at My normal Pace but when a situation Like that does pop up I try to Focus on Just the painting when I can get Online.
Larry: What keeps you drawing?
Louise: The finished piece. I just Love looking at my finished piece. I also feel that Criticism Of my work really gives me that strive to push my Art forward.
Larry: What do you do to practice?
Louise: try Painting New things, If they don't turn out as I expected I come back to the piece and Improve it. And I Paint, Paint and paint!
Larry: How much do you practice?
Louise: I try and practice whenever I can, whenever I'm bored I always get My head stuck inside the board and start doodling and drawing stuff I didn't think i could draw.
Larry: Does art affect your personal life?
Louise: Yes Art does effect My personal Life. I did Art at GCSE level when I was at school and ever since it's played a big part In my life. It just teaches me new things every day, just yesterday I was looking at art Made my By Jim Dine and his art told soo many stories. I guess it's true that a picture says a thousand words.
Larry: What are some techniques you could teach unartistic people?
Louise: Unartistic People? No one is unartistic, I'm sure everyone has an Artist inside them. And what I can teach them? There is nothing to teach all i can do is give Guidance, Art comes naturally.
Larry: What inspired you to make a school to teach others about art?
Louise: Alot of people would come and ask me to teach them to paint and I would always say 'Practice' but then thinking about it I realised that the way I was inspired by someone, maybe I can be an inspiration to other people so I decided to put together a school where I can Give guidance and Tips on How certain Things can be painted. My sister Tiffany Starlight 2 Is also helping out with the school.
Larry: Who taught you how do draw?
Louise: No one taught Me how to draw but like i Said I was Inspired By many artists and can I just give a Shoutout To Itis Me who gave me a few tips On painting
