The Rules of the SmallFM Forums

As SmallFM, we believe that everyone should have the right to express their opinions/comments on our forums.

What we don't want however is people abusing this privilege.

So to prevent this, We have a set of rules. These rules apply to any form of use of our Website or the Forums.

If you abuse any of these rules, You will be banned from the Forums.

Respect

All Users of our Forums are excepted to treat each other as they would expect to be treated. We don't condone or allow any form of aggression towards any of our users. This includes Racism and Discrimination.
If you disagree with someone, fine, but don't be overly aggressive with them.

Privacy

All users have the right to be as private as they wish. Anyone asking questions about where some one lives, their age etc is considered inappropriate on our Forums. We also NEVER tolerate any form of giving passwords or usernames for any form of accounts and anyone doing this is liable for a immediate Ban.

We believe that a good community is one which brings the suggestions of it's users together in order to form ideas on how Small FM should run. What we do however ask as is that you report anyone breaking these Rules.

Content Guidelines

Users of our Forums should never post the following:-

- Personal Attacks, Name-Calling, insults or statements which would cause harrashment to another.
- Images which contain other avatars names or real names. Anyone using these will have a Replacement image inserted.
- Information about yourself! This includes emails, passwords, Xbox Live Accounts etc.
- A message which disrespects any users or groups of users.
- Swears, and sexual themes.
- Our forum isn't for dating, so no dating or looking for companions on our forum.
- Spamming, repeating the same post, or same thread over and over.
- Image that include things such as Sexual, Violent, Graphical, or flash images (with the previous things in) this also includes pictures to bully others, and copyright images too.
- Bump/reply to threads that are old without adding additional content or commentary about the topic.
- Post or create a thread containing a topic that would not be suitable for discussion in a classroom of teenage students- including but not limited to suicide, murder, rape, abuse, violence, crime.
- Post images or descriptions of unreleased items. Individuals who do this may be subject to an immediate forum ban.
- Re-posting material that has been locked or moved by the forum staff.
Posting using an alternate avatar when your account has been banned - this will attract a permanent forum ban for the alternate avatar and an extension of the existing ban.
- Making a thread or a post to comment on the SmallFM moderation, In-world helpers, moderation and the offical SmallWorlds Moderation.
- Use terms that are deemed inappropriate such as obscenities, vulgarity, or actions of a sexual nature. This includes using variations of spelling to disguise obscenity.
Disrespect a player’s religion, race, nation, gender or sexual orientation.
Disrespect a group of people on SmallWorlds (for example: Newbies, VIPS/Non-VIPS).
Troll the forums: “Trolling” is deliberately following another player (or group) for the sole purpose of causing trouble without providing any constructive feedback for the thread.

Also, note that most of the SmallWorlds Forums (forum.smallworlds.com) rules apply here!

Update - 08/11/2011 - Changing your username to avoid moderation action is now considered a Bannable action
Update - 08/02/2012 - Mailing a member of staff about a openned job application or asking for a job is now also considered as harrashment and will be dealt with according to the Forum Rules.
